C. Payment Information

Subscription payments are collected, processed, and managed exclusively by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. Retail Assistant does not store, transmit, or maintain full credit card numbers, CVV codes, bank account numbers, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers.

Stripe may collect billing information necessary to complete transactions, including cardholder name, billing address, and payment verification details. Payment information handled by Stripe is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy.

Payment information collected by Stripe is used solely for processing and managing subscription transactions. It is never used for marketing, advertising, resale, or any purpose unrelated to fulfilling your subscription with Retail Assistant.

D. Mobile Phone Numbers & SMS Communications

If you provide a mobile phone number to Retail Assistant — for account verification, multi-factor authentication, transactional alerts, or customer intake workflows — that number may be used to send SMS or text messages through our messaging provider, Twilio, Inc.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is not sold, rented, or transferred outside of the service providers required to deliver the messages you request.

When accessing the Service, certain technical information may automatically be collected, including:

  • IP address

  • Maintain secure login sessions
  • Remember user preferences
  • Improve platform performance
  • Measure aggregate usage patterns

Most web browsers allow users to manage or disable cookies through browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may impact application functionality.

8. SMS & Text Message Communications

Retail Assistant uses Twilio, Inc. to deliver SMS and text-message-based communications, including account verification codes, multi-factor authentication codes, transactional service notifications, and customer-facing intake or pickup alerts that you or your authorized employees initiate through the platform.

A. No Sharing of Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing is limited exclusively to subcontractors (such as Twilio) that support the delivery of the messages you have requested, and only to the extent necessary to deliver those messages.

B. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the features you use. Transactional messages (such as verification codes, security alerts, and workflow notifications) are sent only in response to actions taken by you, your employees, or your customers within the Service. You may receive anywhere from occasional messages to several per day depending on your usage.

C. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging, data, and carrier charges from your mobile carrier apply to all SMS messages sent or received. Retail Assistant is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

D. Opt-Out & Help

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message received from Retail Assistant. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us using the information at the bottom of this policy. Opting out of transactional or security-related messages may impact your ability to use certain features of the Service, including multi-factor authentication.

E. Supported Carriers

SMS delivery is supported on major U.S. carriers, but carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on applicable laws and your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Access information associated with your account
  • Request corrections or updates
  • Request deletion of certain data
  • Export your business data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent

Requests may be submitted using the contact information listed below.

10. Children's Privacy

Retail Assistant is intended for business and commercial use and is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International Data Transfers

Information may be stored or processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our infrastructure providers operate.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be transferred to locations with different data protection laws than those in your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes.

If material changes are made, we may notify users through email notifications, application notices, or by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
